Game Golf Review – Digital Tracking System
In this video, I demonstrate how to use the Game Golf digital tracking system on the course. I honestly think this is best golf stat tracker on the market. After you watch this video, I’m sure you’ll agree.
What sets the Game Golf system apart from the various iPhone or Android shot tracking apps and just writing your stats on your scorecard is ease of use. These other ways of keeping your stats are time consuming and unorganized. Do you actually go through all of your old scorecards? Can you clearly see the screen on your phone? With Game Golf there is a faster, easier way to collect all of your data for all of your rounds.
To begin tracking all of your stats for your round, you simply clip the main Game Golf unit onto your belt. You attach the included tags which have embedded RFID chips in to the end of your clubs. Turn the unit on and you’re ready to go.
Before you hit your shot, you simply bring the butt end of your club to the unit. Wait for it to vibrate. Once it does, you hit your shot. You do the same thing on your next shot and even on your putts. Every time you tag your club to the unit, it records the previous shot.
Once you’re finished your round, you turn the unit off and the information is stored (can store up to 10 rounds). When you get home you connect the Game Golf device to your computer via USB cable (included) and your stats are uploaded to your online account which is mobile friendly. Now you’re presented with all sorts of graphs, charts, satellite images of your golf course and even graphical depictions of where you hit all of your shots over time.
Tracks all stats for all areas of your game
Simple to use graphical interface
No need to fiddle with apps or write on scorecards
Review your stats at home, at the range or when you play (mobile friendly)
Conforms to USGA and R&A rules
Price – Game Golf retails for $199.95 (less than the cost of a driver)
Some minor errors with shot I hit but can be easily corrected
Hopefully, you see that this is invaluable information to help you play your best golf without even making any swing changes (although I would hope you would be working on your swing as well). For example: imagine think you hit your clubs a certain distance when really this is shorter or longer than you think (most golfers are shorter). Now you’ll know your actual distances allowing you to choose the right club from the right yardage. This information alone will allow you to hit more greens in regulation or keep the ball in play.
Knowing your stats also shows you the weaknesses in your game. Now you can go to the range and work on these specific areas instead of just beating golf balls.
It is used by some of the best PGA Tour Players. Including: Graeme McDowell, Lee Westwood and Jim Furyk.
I truly believe this is the best digital shot tracking system on the market so my conclusion is that I highly recommend it to anyone who is serious about improving their game.
